1: intended as a remedy
2: to spraypaint something, usually a vehicle, flat black.
This is my first blog and I'm beginning it with my first motorcycle project. The project underway is a 1998 Honda VFR Interceptor. I purchased the bike 3 years ago, my third one, and learned a great deal about riding on it before I overstepped my limits. But I'll go into that later if you'd like.
The name Remedial Murder comes from a few different things. Remedial meaning a course to fix my busted bike with a 'murdered out' look in mind. It also plays on my own lacking experience with this kind of project and my hopes to gain that experience.
But now is the time for the rebuild and I can't think of a better way to do it then to keep it naked, flat, and scarred. And I don't hale from a gear-head family by any means and, other then riding itself, my experience with motorcycles is limited. So, that's why I'm looking forward to this project. Its simple and basic but will have a unique finish.
I know the web is full of critics and I'm looking forward to hearing what some of you have to say. Whether its 'Why are you screwing up a good bike' to 'Why dont you do/try this instead'.
I know what keeps my interest in blogs and I'll try and do the same here. Posting as much media as I can, keeping things short and sweet, and keeping in touch with what else is going on in the automotive world.
Thanks for reading this far, whether you're catching on soon or scrolling back to see what this is all about.
